Should I terminate the link to part of my memories...?

I have been thinking about something for the past few days now...
and I still couldn't make up my mind about it... Sigh...

The thing that I have been thinking about is...

whether or not...

should I or should I not....

DELETE my Friendster account? Before you whack me in the head saying that this is not something you should ponder about for a few days, let me explain first...

The Reason to DELETE Friendster ACCOUNT

I don't use Friendster anymore, I prefer Facebook. What is the point of keeping an account when you need to constantly try to recall your password whenever you want to log in? Besides, I don't update my Friendster anymore, neither do most of my friends... I think most of them switched to Facebook as well...

HOWEVER...

The ULTIMATE Reason to KEEP Friendster ACCOUNT
The testimonials... Gosh I got them way back from college days... Brings back a lot of memories... College was the best time of my life because that was when I fell in love, got a whole lot of punching bags, scratching posts, met two of my best friends... I was just looking through them and gosh.. I really couldn't bear to delete the account anymore... GGGAHHHH... What should I do??!??!

Let me show some of the few testimonials that I really really like!

This is my one and only husband :D

My scratching post

My outstanding feature!

My nicknames

My darling (we share the same husband) *wink*

It really does bring back a lot of wonderful memories...
well... wonderful for me... maybe not so for the guys...
After a long battling between the pros and cons... the final verdict is... I just don't have the heart to delete my Friendster account just yet... Oh well....

Four Weeks++

Well... I'll be! This is the fifth week already since I last came home with my Mum and bro. Ok, recap... umm...... eh...... what the hell have I been doing these past few weeks?!?!?!? For your information, the past few weeks were spent rather eventful, I would say.

Week One:
Spent a lot of quality time with my second eldest brother where our daily activities consisted of arguing, explanations, shouting, messing around, getting on my mother's nerves and shopping. You gotta feel the loooveeee...~ This was taken the very first morning we got back from Subang together. The blurry effect was because....I just woke up at that time =S

This was taken before he left to Aussie.

Week Two:
The two of us went to shop a present for our Mum. If you knew our Mum, you know it is an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT task. She has a particular taste and is sooooo picky. Thankfully, we went through all the trouble and SHE LOVES IT!!!! We were in awe but we were relief that she ACTUALLY LOVES it!

Of course, when you are in the Pearl of the Orient, good food is never too far away.

Seafood Pizza

Pasta

Authentic Italian Appetizers

Drool, people, drool...~!!

Oh we also celebrated our grandmother's birthday! She is 86 and still going STRONG!!

Week Three:
Sent my brother off to the airport. Saw that Nando's is FINALLY closed down and replaced with McD's!!! I am never a fan of Nando's, I just don't like the food there. I am so glad that McDonald's is in the airport!!! It's about TIME!

Then, my Mum and I went to help out Dad with his work. Saw some pretty interesting cases. A lot of people getting accidents these days. They just came in, bleeding here and there. It was scary to look at in the beginning but after a while, you'll get used to it. Then there is a particular case where an elderly woman had an infection at her feet and she is also diabetic. However, she was ignorant about the condition and obviously it gotten so bad to the stage that she had feet gangrene. It was absolutely disgusting and odorous BUT very interesting. Why do I say that? It is because when my dad literally cut a hole at her feet to drain out the pus (A LOT) and blood, she felt no pain at all. She didn't scream nor budged. She just sat there and let procedure take place. Pretty amazing :P I was not able to take the pictures because it was gross and I don't want the camera to be stained with pus.

Week Four and Five:
Met up with my best friends during the night as I was working during the daytime. It's always the three of us. The funny thing is that, we are absolutely nothing alike and yet we can be truthful and real to each other about our lives, families and the things that we are dealing with.

Ohhh... I finally cut my hair. Can't stand it for having it too long. And now, have to start packing for one-week VACATION!!! Can't wait. Fill you in soon. Toodles!

It Is D-DAY!

Today is the last day of my internship! Finally! Last day to punch my card!!
I don't know why but I did felt a bit sad that I have to leave. However that feeling only stand for about 20% while the other 80% is really excited to finally have the relaxation that I have been longing for. Hehehe....

Since it was the end of our training, we decided to have an early dinner with some of our colleagues after work. We went to Chef & Brew which situated at Crystal Point. During our journey, Kak Mas turn on her car radio and it started playing M2M songs! I really miss that duo! Being vain that we are, we started camwhoring in the car! I blame it on Venetia! Her vainness has affect me and Hui Wearn!

Since it was only 5:30pm, the place was practically deserted. The food quality there was just mediocre, I wouldn't go there again if I had the choice. Food wasn't much of importance. The most important thing is that we got together to have a small farewell. I will definitely miss the nice people that I have met at work! Wish you all the very best and Happy Chinese New Year

Will update more pictures after I get them from Vene!

Friendship Never Ends

People always say that when one grows up, there will be a lot of commitments that can't be avoided. In other words, everyone will be always busy with their own life, doing things that matter to them. However, we always make sure that we take a little bit of our super-packed schedules to meet up when there is a chance.

I met up with my two BFFs yesterday night. Gosh... It's been so long since the three of us got together. One of them lost a lot of weight, One looks extremely exhausted and One gains a few pounds. Talking with them really brings back good memories and just being with them, our friendship story kept on adding a few more chapters each time. We talked a lot, about our lives, our new year resolutions and our future. It is with a heavy heart when one says that her dream was to further her studies in Scotland but we are definitely are supportive about it. The other one is still figuring out whether to continue further her studies in research or laboratory work. One more still wants to pursue Medicine but has no confidence in herself. We do know one thing, whatever we want in life, we have to work hard for it. Sigh.. we also agreed that this is tough too.

On the topic on love, one is happily attached to her boyfriend, like practically married J! The other is loving her single life while the other is searching for love however, we all again come to a conclusion that final year is way more important than thinking about L.O.V.E. Don't worry girl, you know you will get plenty of love from your two best friends!

Hmm... wonder when will we meet up again? Definitely a few more times before we get back to our hectic lifestyles ok? God bless my cam-whoring friends and I!

P.S.
I finally found digged out some old pictures of the three of us when we were in college. Did we change a lot? *wink*

Way Back Then...

Then...

MSN brings us closer

"GOSH it's so cold in here!" I have never stayed in a library to do anything for more than 2 hours and now I am getting goosebumps all over my hands. Actually I have some assignments due next week which I could start to do, I took a break to chat with my out-of-touch friends through MSN. My darling Sin Ling has finished her final examinations and she is free from all the books, assignments and notes for THREE WHOLE WEEKS! I want to have a holiday too~! Unfortunately, it is not my time to relax yet. I have two tests next week and some assignments due. On addition to that, my mid-term is coming up as well. I need and MUST to maintain myself in a STUDY and WORK WORK WORK mode. Kevin, my primary schoolmate, who has plenty of problems, added another problem to his list, girlfriend. I was honestly shocked that he has a girlfriend already. Hmm.. I wonder is the girlfriend taller than him? *smiling mischievously* Now he had got me curious about his girlfriend... Cannot! *shaking the thought off* Must go back to work!

BINGO

Finally the virus is removed from my computer system, hopefully it will stay that way for a long long time. However, the internet line connection tonight is just simply terrible. Calling my dear "hubby", SIN LING, on Skype and MSN Messenger numerous times and kept getting disconnected! Streamyx - sometimes it is such a major disappointment. On the bright side, well... just a little good part about it is that Sin Ling and I would goof around whenever we have to start a new call. We would make strange funny and silly sounds such "elllooooo", "HAArrrrLLLoooooo" and etc. It's really good to hear your old friend's voice. Makes me miss the good old days....

Oh, just now in the house, I do not know how it all started but BINGO was the in-thing all of the sudden! Only for about half hour only though, everyone in the house was just having fun. Since there were seven of us, 5 by 5 boxes of BINGO would be too few. We ended up playing 6 by 6 boxes of Bingo. I could see that my housemates were really into it because they were like smiling mischievously when the right number was called and frowned when the number is unfavourable to them. I haven't played BINGO for so long. I was the fourth one to BINGO! All right... time to crash. bye~~

Penangnites are up and about!

On 18-07-07, I went out with my Penang buddies to One-Utama. At the beginning of the semester, we would get together at least once before the assignments and lectures starts pilling up. Right after lecture which concludes at 7pm, we immediately took off to One-Utama. As the typical Malaysians, there were traffic jams everywhere. We got to One-U at about 8 something which was considered quite fast. And as usual, we don't know what to eat. We will keep passing the ball till somebody comes up with something or suggestion that everyone can agree on. After discussing for more than 20 minutes, the final decision goes to Vietnam Restaurant.

I was a bit uncertain at first because I have never try Vietnamese food before and I was kind of worried that it will be too spicy for my taste buds. Once the nine of us sat down at the restaurant, we were browsing through the menu, the food there were pretty expensive. So all of heads turned to YZ and told him to lower his voice because he is without a doubt, notorious for speaking foul-language aloud. All of us started to tease him about the numerous times that he did it in public.

Food were definitely amazing - for some dishes only, of course.

Seafood Fried Mee - I tried a bit and it was tasty!

Chicken Chop with Rice and Egg - a little spicy but pretty delicious!

Vietnamese Chicken Curry Rice - 1, 2, 3! Drool.........

Parisan Grilled Chicken - YUM....!

All of them said that I am a camera freak! I took pictures of everyone when they are eating and accidentally caught some action :P Well I don't care! Click here for more pictures. We had a lot of fun just talking about crap and everything else under the sun!

As the night was still young, we went to Chili's for dessert! Serene recommended 'Hi and Mighty Pie' and there were nine of us, we ordered two. Three of us girls and Alex loved the pie however Kee Chaw and Theng Wee were complaining that it was too sweet! They really got no sweet tooth at all! It was really really good, the combination of vanilla ice cream, Heath candy, Oreo crumbs with chocolate and caramel sauce, it was just AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE it!

Hi and Mighty Pie - SWEET!

After enjoying an amazing meal (I absolutely adore FOOD) with great company, it was time to leave. I wish we could do this all the time, but that is kinda impossible.

Triple Seven on A Saturday Night

Yesterday was triple seven, seventh of July in two thousand seven, 777. It's funny, I don't remember people getting excited as much last year when it was 666. Most probably it's the number that represents Satan. Anyway, I didn't really care whatever the date it was. I just went out and met up some of my old college friends.

Sin Ling, Me, Kenneth and Kayson

It felt like ages since we last saw each other. Sin Ling is one of my closest buddies in college. Though she is in SP and I'm in KL, we still in keep in touch, we are still as close, sharing secrets and what's going on with our lives. Only one thing is missing, is our beloved Soo Zhen. Sin Ling, Soo Zhen and I were inseparable during our college year. However, she is in Perth right now, so it is a shame that she couldn't make it. Both of us miss her like crazy. Anyway, back to Sin, her sister had her wedding registration and that's why, my sweet Sin Ling was dolled up!!! I was extremely shocked to see her this way. The last time I saw her with make up was our Disted Prom Night as shown below. Soo Zhen is the one standing right behind Sin Ling.

Then there is Kenneth. He is extremely fluent with his English and uses big words that I pretty much do not understand. When I saw him, I was a bit surprised that he had become chubby. He is still pretty much the same, he talks a lot! You'll never run out of anything to talk about. And I noticed that he shaved. Then I started to imagine him with mustache, in my head, it was definitely a funny sight.

Last but not least is Kenneth's close friend Kayson. Kayson was in Disted Stamford College for only a few months before he got a place in a university in Perth. So I didn't know him very well. My last impression of him was like, "A Chung Ling graduate, damn smart and works hard." Now, he is pretty much the same except that he is much more mature in his thinking and actions.

We were catching up with each other's lives and that's when Kenneth had to leave early (that was ten o'clock). That leaves only the three of us. We sat there, drank and talked and talked and talked. It was then it hit me that how much we have grown. I mean we were talking about politics, our dreams and our future. It was a bit frightening at first, yet it was comforting that you are not alone in this. Everyone is going through stages in life and it is nice to know that you got friends you can call up and joke around. Finally, it was time to leave and I got home at exactly midnight and right on the dot. It was a first for me to be out this late. It was fun seeing them. I would love to do this again.

Penang Hokkien Night's Out

Message Alert! "we in a car, we ride slow..." Danity Kane sings...

'Wan2have dinner 2gether at 7pm2nig?'

That's where the fun begins. Few of my Penang friends and I got together to grab dinner. I thought we were going to someplace normal like hawkers' centre or Sunway Pyramid. However, we end up going to the Curve! Kee Chaw picked us up at 7.30pm and we got there at 8.20pm. Traffic was bad but it was unnoticeable as we were chatting, teasing and laughing in the car!

As usual, when we got there, we do not know what to eat though Yi Zhi was grumbling all the way (well.. most of the time) that he is hungry. We ended up in a semi high class restaurant called Italliannics. Hehehe.. some of us wore flip flops in the restaurant, thankfully we were not kick out. Joking around and speaking in Hokkien do make us feel like we were in Penang.

After we ordered our food for just 5 minutes, the food came. I tell you, we were all shocked thinking 'WAH! Service so good ah but why the portion so small?' As we were poking on the huge meatballs of the spaghetti, one of the waitress came and apologized that it was not our order! That's why Mummy always says not to play with our food, but do we listen? NO! By the way, the beverages there are not so good still it is expensive. So not worth it!

Food was all right. We thought of walking around and shop a bit. Most of the shops were closed as it was already 10pm, so we were not able to shop. Still, Yi Zhi did took the opportunity to buy a pair of brown-checks Adidas sneakers which Kee Chaw and I do not fancy it at all. It cost RM 230~! Then, we went to Paddington House of Pancakes for dessert! It was getting late and there was not many people around. Being young, we love to hang out and chit chat for quite sometime. It was until 11.05pm that we decided to head back. This was the first time this year I went out this late. But I had fun! Second year in uni does stress us out but we know how to have our fun~!
