Boom Boom POW!!!

Forgive me for my lack of updates during this Chinese New Year festive season. Instead of giving you a thousand and one reasons for not blogging, I will tell you to watch out for my next post. My next post will be on my misfortunes just before the year of the Tiger begins. As for the time being, please enjoy the fireworks display!!! People this year are very generous in paying for the fireworks!

Can't wait to see you again

Yesterday was raining like mad! The thunders and lightnings were really terrifying! I even felt a slight *very slight* static shock when I was walking to "Egypt", holding my umbrella. Scary. However, after the huge storm has passed, where all the clouds were slowly floats away, a beautiful sunset awaits.

What do I think about the simple scenery?

I think that in every storm, there will be times that are unbearable, scary and even times where you are on the verge of giving up. However. there is always something better waiting for you after the storm. So it is a reminder to me to always look ahead and not constantly bothered about my own environment and condition. Yosh... now that I am refreshed, I better get back to my assignments.

Oh ya, today is the day for the Earth Hour event. For those people who always leave their laptops or computers on overnight or a few days in a row for movie downloading, this is a good chance to redeem yourself by doing a part in saving electricity. Turning off the lights/ electricity for 60 minutes. Not too hard, right? Or is it? We'll see after tonight.

Stress-Free Day: Day One

A new day... no class... no assignments... no books to study. Hmmm... yes... I'm feeling a bit odd that's all, all the sudden there's nothing to worry about =P Now I can take the time to smell the roses. Outside the sisters' house, there lies a tree where its flowers were blooming and I didn't even notice until this beautiful morning when I got back from the petrol station. It was so pretty~!



After settling some stuff, we (my housemates and I) went to Sunway Pyramid to have lunch with a sister who has finished her foundations studies and is going to pursue her studies elsewhere. While we were there, we saw something interesting. I used to see this in music videos and pictures but never in real life!

It was really funny~! I took about 3 videos of this but I just uploaded the final battle between two US fellows. I really wanted to try but didn't have the guts to do it. It looks FUN~! And besides, I think it is only meant for the males.

Anyway, since I am so free, I decided to find a good novel for some light reading. I wanted to find a thriller or crime genre fiction novels, however, I wasn't too sure about some of them. So I grew tired looking for a good book, I straight away took one from the books in the recommended section and bought it without thinking too much. From the title, it is obviously a romance novel. That very night, as I was reading it, it is more about the-losing-your-soul-mate-and-can't-go-on type of plot and finally how did she overcame the entire situation with the help of her late husband's "list". It's good for a light read as it is pretty funny, especially when she (oh, the main character in the novel is called Holly) hangs out with her amazing and supportive best friends. Basically, it's also about moving on with life. Apparently they made this into a movie. Never seen it before, I don't think they even aired it here in Malaysia. I don't know, I just really lost to what is the latest movies these days.


It took me several hours just to finish it. Hmm... I wonder what should I do now?

Prayer Meeting in Action

I forgot when this was taken but it was taken on one of the Tuesdays nights that we have our prayer meeting with the brothers and sisters. And I don't remember why they wanted to take pictures of us. Sister Apphia being cheeky that night, took the camera and started clicking away like a professional photographer. Fortunately for her, she took a picture of me with my lazy eye after I took a bit of the egg tarts provided that night.

I looked rather odd now, don't I?

Yes, yes, yes.... I know I should grab the hold of my time to study and do my assignments. Still, I'm feeling as lazy as a pig. I'm NOT being responsible but being REBELLIOUS to my own conscience. Was killing time with playing Neopets, one of my housemates came in asking all of the sisters to take pictures together. Without even giving it a slightest thought, we just went for it! Though the 2nd picture is a bit blur, but I like the pose :D

Unfortunately, I am the shortest in this FAMILY.

I'm truly blessed to be living in the same house with these amazing sisters!

Today, during our physiology lab session, the lecturer was briefing for quite a while about lab safety and yadda yadda yadda. Then, there were two Malay ladies (I called them ladies because they walked slowly and spoke very softly) came into our lab, "disturbing" the whole class (well... just females) with survey forms concerning knowledge on gynecology and several sex-transmitted diseases. Due to our"cooperative" participation, they gave all the female students each a token of appreciation, which is a mobile phone accessory. There was a Bunny, a Hello Kitty and a Donkey. Among the three, the Donkey is the cutest! Hello Kitty was a bit distorted and the Bunny wasn't fat enough. :-D Now what should I call it? Hmmmmm..... *thinking hard*
