Angel's Gifts

I came home from work, tired and weary, fell down on the floor and rested for a moment before I gained enough strength to stand. I have no idea why I was the way that way but I could felt the strain in my arms. Basically, I was just exhausted. Then my Mum started telling her story... I was listening and waited for her to get to the main point... and she finally said, "therefore, you have a little present waiting on your bed." I have no idea why, but the word "present" does lift up my spirit. Thus as I walked up to my bedroom, I saw this....

It is the same mug with different languages front and back. Sweet, isn't it? I really like it a lot. :D And there was then I saw another present laying beside it. It was a small hymn book! It is given by a young angel. Thoughtful, isn't it? Who would have thought that a little kid can even take care of a big sister? This certainly brightens up my day :D

Leopard!

I got a little present from my friend. No, it's not my birthday nor it is any special occasions. Jason Tan aka JAZONG (please don't ask me why or how he got that name, I don't remember) went to Singapore last weekend and he bought me a souveiner! A stuffed leopard with magnet! THANKS MAN!

Nice and fuzzy!

I think it is a leopard..... isn't it?

This picture does remind me of the stature in Sunway Pyramid.....

Brand New Bag

Mood: Pumped Up
Currently Listening to Give It to Me by Timbaland feat. Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake.

Library books are due today and I can't assess my Monash Library website to renew them, which really sucks and I have to pay the fine on Monday. Sigh.... cleaned the whole house by sweeping and mopping the floors. I was thought to be a very typical day that is until my phone rang.....

My godmother (who is also my aunt) came down to KL for the weekend! Hmmm... the term 'godmother' does sound older compare to the word 'aunt'. Anyway, my aunt went to visit my cousin and her mum whom have just got back from China a few days ago. Along with them, we went to SAKAE SUSHI in Subang Parade for dinner. I was really "kou fu" (it means my mouth is blessed with food in Mandarin).

It was very interesting because it was my very first time to enter into a restaurant where we could place our orders with the built-in computer on the wall. Though it is efficient and food were served within minutes after we click the "CONFIRM" button, it does reduce a lot of interaction between the serving ones and the customers. It's just a weird feeling that I had at that particular moment. On the other hand, the food was great except the eel 'Unagi'. It tasted a bit different but not in a good way. There are no good quality Unagi nowadays as they are not from Japan anymore. Most stock were obtained from China as it is cheaper in cost. It was a major disappointment for me because I really like Unagi... not anymore though.

My cousin who went abroad to China to work, gave me a little present.

At first I thought that it was something for you to keep CDs in it, actually it is a handbag! It is really adorable with all it's comic strips! Man... I think I have too many bags already....

*YAWN* Au Revior people.......

*UPDATE: I finished Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows in 6 hours! Not my best record though. It was surprisingly good and definitely better than the last two books. I love the way it ends it as part of me wants him to die and another of me do not want him to perish. The ending has both!

Presents

Midterm break - only one week of lecture-&-lecturer-free, but not assignment-free, SIGH! At least I get to return to my humble home in Penang, as I missed my Mum's cooking, the tender and warmth feeling of being home, sleeping on my own bed, having quality time with my parents and of course, I do miss a bit of nagging from home. :) Oh! I received two 'presents' during the break. Do you guys still remember the past Chinese New Year? When you all receive all your angpows? Well.. as you all might not know, I did not open my angpows during CNY as semester one starts a bit early. Sooo......*MONEY MONEY MONEY...... LOL!!!!!*

Where does the all the money go? Being an obedient *ahem* girl, most of the cash went to the bank *sniff... all gone*. Undoubtedly, I left some to spend! Hehhehe.... Now what can I buy? *thinking hard*

The second present I got is my hair! Yes you have read correctly, my H.A.I.R.! I finally got rid of my long hair, and the hairdresser gave it back to me... (don't ask my why) Maybe he wants me to regret for making this decision?
I don't know about that, but I can tell you that when my friends saw me with my new haircut, I get all sorts of responses. One of the most extreme feedback I received was.. *SCREAM* Yes! When the sisters saw me, they all screamed! And at very high pitch I must say. On the other hand, some say it looks cute, some prefer me with long hair, and some are just simply amused. Hehehe... I like it! Till next time, see ya!

I've GOT a DONKEY!

I've Got a DONKEY!!!

A very CUTE ONE too!

Today, during our physiology lab session, the lecturer was briefing for quite a while about lab safety and yadda yadda yadda. Then, there were two Malay ladies (I called them ladies because they walked slowly and spoke very softly) came into our lab, "disturbing" the whole class (well... just females) with survey forms concerning knowledge on gynecology and several sex-transmitted diseases. Due to our"cooperative" participation, they gave all the female students each a token of appreciation, which is a mobile phone accessory. There was a Bunny, a Hello Kitty and a Donkey. Among the three, the Donkey is the cutest! Hello Kitty was a bit distorted and the Bunny wasn't fat enough. :-D Now what should I call it? Hmmmmm..... *thinking hard*
