As I said earlier, I like things that are new, not just material things as well as new environment. However, NEW does not necessarily mean that it's of good quality. Let me see if I can put this simply.
New Day, New Campus, New Lecturers, New Facilities = Few yet Poor Quality of Food in the Cafeteria, Air conditioners broke down, No Maps on the 3 levels of Library, Computer Slides Not working... well you get the idea. I think it is safe to say NOT A SINGLE THING IN THIS UNIVERSE IS PERFECT.
I got back home after class, and since it is the first day, I chilled out a bit. I watched Shrek 3 on DVD. Pretty entertaining but I still prefer the Shrek 2. After watching the whole show, I said to myself, "DAMN! I didn't make a resolution for today!" I was trying to get myself off the hook by doing something simple or I had done in the day time. I can't do that because I would be lying to myself and it is just the third day I started this, I don't want to give up so early. So as punishment, I would study today. I never study on the first day and many sane people does the same thing too. Oh well.. good night people. I'll be hitting the books.... this will be interesting *sarcasm*

Triple Seven on A Saturday Night
Yesterday was triple seven, seventh of July in two thousand seven, 777. It's funny, I don't remember people getting excited as much last year when it was 666. Most probably it's the number that represents Satan. Anyway, I didn't really care whatever the date it was. I just went out and met up some of my old college friends.
Sin Ling, Me, Kenneth and Kayson
Then there is Kenneth. He is extremely fluent with his English and uses big words that I pretty much do not understand. When I saw him, I was a bit surprised that he had become chubby. He is still pretty much the same, he talks a lot! You'll never run out of anything to talk about. And I noticed that he shaved. Then I started to imagine him with mustache, in my head, it was definitely a funny sight.
Last but not least is Kenneth's close friend Kayson. Kayson was in Disted Stamford College for only a few months before he got a place in a university in Perth. So I didn't know him very well. My last impression of him was like, "A Chung Ling graduate, damn smart and works hard." Now, he is pretty much the same except that he is much more mature in his thinking and actions.
We were catching up with each other's lives and that's when Kenneth had to leave early (that was ten o'clock). That leaves only the three of us. We sat there, drank and talked and talked and talked. It was then it hit me that how much we have grown. I mean we were talking about politics, our dreams and our future. It was a bit frightening at first, yet it was comforting that you are not alone in this. Everyone is going through stages in life and it is nice to know that you got friends you can call up and joke around. Finally, it was time to leave and I got home at exactly midnight and right on the dot. It was a first for me to be out this late. It was fun seeing them. I would love to do this again.
It felt like ages since we last saw each other. Sin Ling is one of my closest buddies in college. Though she is in SP and I'm in KL, we still in keep in touch, we are still as close, sharing secrets and what's going on with our lives. Only one thing is missing, is our beloved Soo Zhen. Sin Ling, Soo Zhen and I were inseparable during our college year. However, she is in Perth right now, so it is a shame that she couldn't make it. Both of us miss her like crazy. Anyway, back to Sin, her sister had her wedding registration and that's why, my sweet Sin Ling was dolled up!!! I was extremely shocked to see her this way. The last time I saw her with make up was our Disted Prom Night as shown below. Soo Zhen is the one standing right behind Sin Ling.

Orange - You're OUT!
ORANGE - YOU'RE OUT!!!!
NOnono... please do not misunderstand. I'm not talking about mandarin oranges nor am I talking about Chinese New Year being over since yesterday. I, however, am talking concerning a shop outside our Malaysian Monash Campus.
Due to its interior paint of the building, all Monash students refer this by calling it either "the Orange Shop" or "Orange". It's very popular among the students and no, it is not because the food there is really good but it is one of the shops (Pink, Corner Shop and Medan) that is convenient for students to fill their empty stomachs. I for one, personally dislike the food in Orange. Therefore I try hard not to go too often. Now I do not even go there at all since the day I felt so rip off by one of stalls owners there. You can say the I am ANTI-Orange.
Today, after I had finished all my morning classes, I went to have lunch with my classmate. As we were walking out, we saw there were a large numbers of police officers, newspaper reporting teams (yes with video cameras) and lorries as well. Everyone was gathered there to check out what was going on. Being humans, we cannot help but to satisfy our curiosity. It turns out the most of the stall owners in Orange, it is they did not renew their food licenses or they did not have any license at all. Before our very eyes, we saw the stalls, one by one were pulled up to the lorry. I guess when I saw that incident, I was kind of glad that the police are STILL doing their jobs around here. Sure, we may have lost one shop to go to, but for me, I actually can't wait for something new. I really hope that someone will take up that shop and sell food that are better than before. And oh, I did not take any pictures as I thought that those people had suffered enough embarrassment for one day.

Relive the Sweetest Moments on Valentine's Day
We all know how difficult it is to maintain that. Fights, arguments and disagreements will never be excluded when two people are together. I guess the most hardest part of keeping the relationship strong is that you are individually growing everyday and so is your spouse. For instance, your taste in music may differ now than when you had your first date. Before, you were a BACKSTREET BOYS die-hard fan. Now, EVANESCENCE's posters might be pinned up all over your wall. People are changing everyday; their thoughts, emotions, ideas, ways to approach certain situations, taste in fashion and music and the list goes on. The beauty of being in the relationship is being able to surpass all of that and still love each other, more than before. It is not easy, nothing in life is easy. I find myself complaining about my own boyfriend from time to time. Therefore, I totally agree with the saying "it takes two to make one relationship work".
Wishing all of you a Happy Valentine's Day! Relive and Reminisce the sweetest moments that you all have ever shared.
