Should I terminate the link to part of my memories...?

I have been thinking about something for the past few days now...
and I still couldn't make up my mind about it... Sigh...

The thing that I have been thinking about is...

whether or not...

should I or should I not....

DELETE my Friendster account? Before you whack me in the head saying that this is not something you should ponder about for a few days, let me explain first...

The Reason to DELETE Friendster ACCOUNT

I don't use Friendster anymore, I prefer Facebook. What is the point of keeping an account when you need to constantly try to recall your password whenever you want to log in? Besides, I don't update my Friendster anymore, neither do most of my friends... I think most of them switched to Facebook as well...

HOWEVER...

The ULTIMATE Reason to KEEP Friendster ACCOUNT
The testimonials... Gosh I got them way back from college days... Brings back a lot of memories... College was the best time of my life because that was when I fell in love, got a whole lot of punching bags, scratching posts, met two of my best friends... I was just looking through them and gosh.. I really couldn't bear to delete the account anymore... GGGAHHHH... What should I do??!??!

Let me show some of the few testimonials that I really really like!

This is my one and only husband :D

My scratching post

My outstanding feature!

My nicknames

My darling (we share the same husband) *wink*

It really does bring back a lot of wonderful memories...
well... wonderful for me... maybe not so for the guys...
After a long battling between the pros and cons... the final verdict is... I just don't have the heart to delete my Friendster account just yet... Oh well....

My One Day Trip to Melaka

Left the house at 7:30AM in the morning and only got back at 11:00PM.... Absolutely TIRING!!! Undoubtedly it was tiring but it was truly enjoyable as it is my very first experience of attending two Lord's Table Meeting at two different localities! This is actually my second trip to Melaka. The last time I went to Melaka was in 2006 and I was attending for a campus students blending. Here are some old pictures of the sisters and I. I looked so young!

And as for today... I am too lazy and too tired to give more details... So I'll let the pictures do the talking for now.

Kota St. John
"St. John's Fort was built by the Dutch during the 18th century is situated on St. John's Hill and was a former site of a chapel dedicated to St. John, the Baptist. According to history, the Archinese attacked Melaka in 1629 and destroyed the chapel. The fort was then used by the Archinese as their base when they attacked the Portuguse who were holding out in the Francisan Monastery on Bukit China and completely destroyed the Monastery. It is interesting to note that the cannon embrasures face inland and not towards the sea as the locals at that time were attacking Melaka from the hinterland." - Sejarah Malaysia.

Let's fire some cannon balls!

Can't wait to see you again

Yesterday was raining like mad! The thunders and lightnings were really terrifying! I even felt a slight *very slight* static shock when I was walking to "Egypt", holding my umbrella. Scary. However, after the huge storm has passed, where all the clouds were slowly floats away, a beautiful sunset awaits.

What do I think about the simple scenery?

I think that in every storm, there will be times that are unbearable, scary and even times where you are on the verge of giving up. However. there is always something better waiting for you after the storm. So it is a reminder to me to always look ahead and not constantly bothered about my own environment and condition. Yosh... now that I am refreshed, I better get back to my assignments.

Oh ya, today is the day for the Earth Hour event. For those people who always leave their laptops or computers on overnight or a few days in a row for movie downloading, this is a good chance to redeem yourself by doing a part in saving electricity. Turning off the lights/ electricity for 60 minutes. Not too hard, right? Or is it? We'll see after tonight.

Can you give me wings to fly away?

Somebody... anybody... please just shoot me right now...

FOUR more weeks till the MCAT exam...

I don't think I can make it... :'(

and apparently I can't make anything right these days... almost everything is going against me... study, exam and people... sigh... especially people... they are just too complex for me to understand... Maybe I'm just too cold to them... Damn...

"BEE-utiful" Morning

Finally, something unusual to blog about! Well... it is not something to be proud of anyway...

For the past two days, we (the sisters and I) had noticed that there were a lot of big flies flying around our mail box especially in the afternoon. So we thought that maybe something had died there and we decided to leave it as it is. We had our own things to worry about. So yesterday, two sisters came by our place to visit us and they told us t
hose things flying around the letter box are not flies but actually BEES!!!! Obviously we were really shocked when we heard that because they don't look like bees! Bees are supposed to be yellow in colour with black stripes at the tip. To us, these bees looked like flies but only bigger in size! This morning, with care and caution, we approached the mail box slowly... and we used a long rod to open the flap of the mailbox and we found...

A HUMONGOUS BEEHIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoom In with flash...

I freaked out immediately! My goodness! It was HUGE!!!!!
For now, we had covered the mouth of the mailbox to prevent the bees from coming out of there. Now, we are just waiting for a brother to come and do the work of an exterminator. None of us dare to do it... Just by looking at it gives me the shivers...

Suffering from CP - now that is just an Excuse

It is already the second week since the commencement of the semester took place, life has been so hectic to me. Where did the time go? Now I have exactly 5 weeks before my admission test and I still have a lot of catching up to do. About... 90% more to go? Yes, I am currently suffering from 'chronic procrastination' (yes, a psychologist told me that it is a true medical condition, but I think he's joking). Anyway, just a quick update on my current life before I go back to my studying again.

Semester has started and I have enrolled myself for two subjects: Food and Industrial Microbiology and Psychology. So far, the lectures were rather interesting. Hopefully I will strive harder for my last two subject for this FINAL semester. Yeah... I still can't believe that I am going to graduate in another 4 months. So I need to stay sober throughout the whole semester.

Hmm... what else? OH! I am still working part-time of my part time job. Hopefully I can earn enough cash within 6 months to go to my one of my dream destination. It seems very far fetched but if I can support half of the expenses, I will be very happy. Commitment is the word. This is my brother's philosophy, "TO DO OR NOT TO DO IT, THERE IS NO TRY". He always tells me this. I find it very hard to do that though.

Well, that's it for today. Hopefully I will update more often in times to come. Have a great day people!

Kimberly, signing off.
