中秋节快乐!

As you can see, I have put together all the mooncake boxes that I have collected throughout the past few years into a single picture. I would always look forward to this time of the year, just simply because I love to see the various styles of packaging. Anyway, Happy Mooncake Festival, everyone!

CPR time

It is time for resuscitate my blog.
Hey y'all, what's up? It's been a long while since I last wrote an entry. I hope you all have been doing well :). I, on the other hand, have been sick *coughing, to be precise for a few days now. I don't have a fever, so I am NOT infected with H1N1. However, because H1N1 infection is getting more and more serious each day, I just stayed home to avoid all the auntie's gibberish talking about H1N1 and gossips about who has been infected yadda yadda yadda...

Putting that aside, I have finished my bachelor degree!!!!! I am beyond thrilled when I got my final results! I am so glad that I have made it! Haha! Now I am excited for my graduation! You know, initially, I did not want to attend the graduation ceremony. I felt that I did not accomplished anything worthy for any celebration. I talked to my family about it and my parents told me, "Up to you, it is your choice." In the end, I registered for graduation. My brother changed my conception about the entire thing. He said that, "This is a milestone. This is what you have accomplished so far and you may not be happy about it. But, these are the things are going to bring you further on what you are going to be next. It might be bigger, better and maybe something you might be proud of." I suppose he is right. It is just kind of weird that I didn't want to go for graduation in the beginning and now I am actually excited???? Strange but true. Anyway, that's it for today! Let me know what you think about my new look for my blog! Bye!

Blogger of the Day and How to Get the Girl

Congratulate me!!! I am the Blogger of the Day in Blogger United!!!! Wahhahahha!!! This is my fourth time being crowned as the Blogger of the Day!! Okokok... calm down... breathe in breathe out... :D Sorry for getting overly excited! I just finished my final lecture of the entire semester! I am extremely happy as I FINALLY have time to study and do revision for my upcoming exams, which is in exactly two weeks! I really want to do well as this is my final semester. I do not want to deter another semester or have a late graduation. That would be utterly embarassing, I would drilled a hole just to cover my face if that happens.

Anyway, just wanna share what I saw in someone's blog just now.
Guys, have you ever wondered how to get a girl of your dreams? Obviously, I am sure you have some tricks up your sleeve but how many of those attempts have been successful? Here is a simplified pie chard showing the statistics on men being successful in their attempts of getting the girl they are interested in.

Guys, do you agree? If you do or don't, why?

New feature from Nuffnang! It is called Nuffnang Xchange! A widget that consists of three tabs: RSS, Innit and Status! At the moment there is only two themes available and I chose the flower theme. Merely because I am a girl :P What do you think? It is located at the right hand corner of the browser. For more information, click here.

Haha no Hi

What a perfect timing... it's Mother's Day. Just the right time for me to reconcile with my mum after I made her mad two days ago... What should I do to make her smile again? I can send her a card, or buy her flowers, or buy her chocolates.... those are pretty safe but effective tactics. They would work just fine if only I am not down to my last RM100 in my bank account for the entire month of MAY.... -_-lll I am so broke. Maybe I should try kenwooi's way? I am pretty sure I'll get a slap on my face... >m< Anyway, Happy Mother's Day! Hope you all have a great celebrations with your Mum(s)!!!
By the way, "Haha no Hi" is Happy Mother's Day in Japanese language. I am not paranoid, ok?

I can't think of a suitable title...

Took a break from everything that is important for a while... and I ended up doing something like this.

Friends Forever

Not bad eh? Gonna do more of this when I am feeling stress. See ya!

Glass Gadgets?

It’s really irritating to get forwarded mails just because you get your hopes up when you see “INBOX (26)”, thinking they could be mails from friends, colleagues or old classmates when they are just chain letters or forwarded emails. Anyway, today I am not gonna put my two cents on that. I am going to talk about something interesting which I got from forwarded emails (What can I say, I was bored! So I guess… *reluctantly* there is a good side to it).

What do you guys think of this?

My first thought – background picture was taken earlier.

What about this?

It feels like the screen is totally taken out!

So anyway, if I were to send this to you right now, would you believe that this transparent laptop screen exists? Maybe, maybe not. But that’s not the point now, is it?

Transparent screen will the next big thing for laptops and desktops. This concept is no doubt really cool but as I was browsing through the net, I saw something way cooler.

Picture obtained from http://www.pickmore.com/technology/sony-vaio-conceptual-transparent-screen-laptop-461

Photos courtesy of http://petitinvention.wordpress.com/2008/10/25/double-layered-transparent-screen/

Awesome, isn't it???!!?

Sony Vaio: You can only see through the transparent screen ONLY when the laptop is turned off.

Petitinvention:The double-layered transparent screen mobile is of course see through. What amazes me about this particular concept is that it is able to provide visuals in high resolutions with touch-screen functions.

Unfortunately, these are just concepts at the moment - sorry to burst your bubbles, they are NOT real.... yet. It would be so cool to have one... so slick, sophisticated, class and sooo.... fragile. Yeah, I would say owning one mobile or laptop like that would give one the kind of OOOooooo... Aahhhhh... attention. Obviously, when I first saw them, I WANT IT!! The burning desire would eventually died down once I realised that it is not so practical.

WHY????

Well, for starters, I never really like touch-screen functions because it would leave smudges. With a transparent screens like those, smudges or fingerprints make it look unclean.

"Wipe it lo..." you say? Of course you can wipe it, but everything functions via TOUCH SCREEN! Need I say more??

Let's move on the reason number two, it looks very fragile and delicate to me. I don't think you can even drop these AT ALL. I am pretty sure they will break and so will your heart.

Also, traveling with it means you need to be labeled with "CAREFUL! FRAGILE!" A bump or a fall can give cracks to the screen and that's not gonna be pretty.

Having said ALL that, it would still be cool to have one! *grins* I guess ONE moderately good reason wins all.

P.E.S.

Looks like everyone I know is suffering from the aftermath of post examinations syndrome - boredom. So am I. A sudden change of pace leaves everyone wondering what to do with their lives.... Hopefully tomorrow will be a more productive day.

Nothing Important

After worrying about so many assignments to do and due next week, I'm so glad that I am now left with one final assignment, and that is SCI2010 literature review - 2500 words. And no, I haven't started with even a single word yet.

Besides being burying myself with assignments, a new sister moved in to our sisters' house in Sunway here. It's nice to have someone who is into the Art stream for a change. So far, we have Business, ACCA and Science students in this house. Now we have an Art student! Diversity :)

The other day, we went to Yogurt Berry for desserts as I have the 30% discount coupon which I got it from the MYC magazine. Let's just say that I won't go there again UNLESS there is 50% discount and UNLESS they make the so-called desserts sweeter! Quite disappointing for me... Maybe I expected too much... Anyways, thankfully for the 30% discount coupon, or else I'll be feeling cheated and complaining about it non-stop. Something like this (look down), cost RM10++! And that is after discount!

Lately, I find that I've been stuffing myself with sweets. I mean, I usually do that but just for the past few weeks, I've been doing more than usual. Hmmmm.... wonder why? Anyway, exams is FAST approaching and I haven't even flip a single page of any textbook. Sigh.... as you can see, I'm just rambling aimlessly... Probably out of sheer boredom. Anyhoo, good night!

Crap... tomorrow is the last day of mid-semester break~! And I have only done so few items!!!! I can't believe it took me four days to finish the Pathology Assignment~!! Still, I was really happy when I finally finished it, was already getting sick of the Pathology books in my room. My room, huh... it is such a mess! My Mum would flipped if she was here.

TO DO LIST
1. Pathology Assignment
2. Pathology Report
3. Pathology Tutorial
4. Pharmacology Presentation
5. Pharmacology Tutorial

8. Study for Pharmacology Mid Term Test

Hopefully I can finish the SCI oral presentation and pathology report by tomorrow or Monday. Monday... ohhh.. that reminds me, Recombinant Test~! Sigh... I haven't started reading anything on it yet...... This shows that I am still, after two whole years here in SJ, an amateur in TIME MANAGEMENT and ORGANIZATION. Pathetic, I know.
After tomorrow, it will be a brand new month already. Now I'm really scared of time, it flies by so freakishly fast, making me feel so old all a sudden. Anyway, enough chit chat for today. Will update again.... that is IF I am able to find time.

Emotional Roller Coaster

First day is always an emotional roller coaster for me.

Reluctance has always been a friend constantly telling me that it is such a drag to start the semester already.

Excitement, on the other hand, tells me, "New Semester, Brand New Opportunities!" She told me it's great to see all the familiar faces again!

Responsibility pulls my ear and told me to pay attention in class and do well in this period. *ouch!*

Joy, ahh... nothing can bring down her smile. She hugs me to make me feel the positivity on the environment around me. :)

With all of them fighting to make me feel all right, the end result is just WEIRD.

My Second Home

*pinching myself* OUCH~! Yupe, I'm definitely not hallucinating, I'm back to SJ.

So so tired right now and I haven't finished unpacking yet.. And I forgot to bring my review letter which I received for my industrial training. DAMN IT!

Night.

Toys of My Childhood

When I thought I could take a rest after finally completing my internship of two months, Mum being a Mum, ruins it when she asked me to clean the house and tidy up my bedroom! Sigh... Got up at 8:30 in the morning and started cleaning up! As I was tidying up my room, I came across a pile of old McDonald's toys, obtained from all the Happy Meals that I used to eat when I was a toddler. Since it has been so long, I decided to give them away to kids, that is if they are still interested in these kind of toys. If they don't, I would just throw them away as I don't play with them anymore and keeping them collects a lot of dust. That is why I took a picture of all the McDonald's toys I once had as shown below as a memoir. Imagine how many times I went to McDonald's just to get all of these!

The Art of Talking

Sigh... It is official, communicating is definitely hard. It's often funny when I think about it, how stupid I can act over a small misunderstanding. Sometimes there are people who are willing to lend a helping hand, but they would never really say those words. Most of the time, they would say it indirectly and that would frequently lead to a whole lot of misunderstandings as well as unnecessary actions. I would always wonder to myself, 'Why do I get so easily irritated over the small matters?' Maybe this is it. By not fully paying attention to one's speaking and also having a mind that continually likes to jump into conclusion, does make life difficult and sometimes unbearable.

It is strange that when you talk about absolutely nothing, pure nonsense, it can be fun. When you say nothing at all, it can be fun too. However, the moment you try to have a good and meaningful conversa
tion, it's becomes a challenge. This is hard as you are trying to express what you are thinking and deliever as clearly as possible to avoid any misinterpretation. I figured that is why people waste a lot of time in explanations. There is a wise one will always make me think of a reason for each action that I take or about to take. That is something I will always try neglect it as I find it too troublesome and hard to get by, though that wise one had his reasons. But I prefer to live my life as written as the following statement "No need to worry about everything I’ve done, live every second like it was my last one."

Communication may play a major part in life but it is nice to keep quiet once in a while and enjoy what surrounds you and what you have beside you. I find that environment and appearance speaks louder and clearer than a million words that come out from a single mouth.
