New Recipe

Have you guys hear of Orange Chicken before? I heard of Lemon Chicken, but Orange Chicken? It's the first time I heard of it. Anyway, wasn't really planning on cooking tonight but my sister was asking for some suggestions on what to cook for tonight. I, of course, turned to my trusty YouTube and started browsing. That is where this Orange Chicken comes in.

Looks delicious isn't it? So we ended up trying to cook this. Long story short, my version looks nothing like the picture above, moreover, it was too darn sweet~! Oh well, it was something new to try out. With each step that you take, learn from it. So I shall not give up to make a better one next time~!

Mid-Break is Almost Over

Crap... tomorrow is the last day of mid-semester break~! And I have only done so few items!!!! I can't believe it took me four days to finish the Pathology Assignment~!! Still, I was really happy when I finally finished it, was already getting sick of the Pathology books in my room. My room, huh... it is such a mess! My Mum would flipped if she was here.

TO DO LIST
1. Pathology Assignment
2. Pathology Report
3. Pathology Tutorial
4. Pharmacology Presentation
5. Pharmacology Tutorial
6. SCI Oral Presentation
7. Study for Recombinant Mini Test
8. Study for Pharmacology Mid Term Test

Hopefully I can finish the SCI oral presentation and pathology report by tomorrow or Monday. Monday... ohhh.. that reminds me, Recombinant Test~! Sigh... I haven't started reading anything on it yet...... This shows that I am still, after two whole years here in SJ, an amateur in TIME MANAGEMENT and ORGANIZATION. Pathetic, I know.
After tomorrow, it will be a brand new month already. Now I'm really scared of time, it flies by so freakishly fast, making me feel so old all a sudden. Anyway, enough chit chat for today. Will update again.... that is IF I am able to find time.

God Hath Not Promised Skies Always Blue

God Hath Not Promised Skies Always Blue

I took some time off from my work and learned a new hymn today. It goes like this...

Verse 1:
God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

Chorus:
But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

Verse 2:
God hath not promised we shall not know
Toil and temptation, trouble and woe;
He hath not told us we shall not bear
Many a burden, many a care.

Verse 3:
God hath not promised smooth roads and wide,
Swift, easy travel, needing no guide;
Never a mountain, rocky and steep,
Never a river, turbid and deep.

I really enjoy this hymn as it reflects on our everyday life. Though there may be obstacles and hardships along the way, the Lord will provide us strength, endurance and grace to make through each passing day. I don't know what my future will be, I don't know what kinds of people I will meet or what problems will I face, but I know that the Lord will be the light that shines on my path to the time that is yet to come.

3. Pathology Tutorial
4. Pharmacology Presentation
5. Pharmacology Tutorial
6. SCI Oral Presentation
7. Study for Recombinant Mini Test
8. Study for Pharmacology Mid Term Test

Seems impossible but I know that the Lord's grace is all sufficient for me.

Lazy as ever

I'm missing my "baby" so much! Sigh... sorry for being emo, but I really do miss my guitar! I just wish someone would just bring it to me! SIGH~~!!!

Anyway, it's been two weeks since the semester started and assignments and reports are just rolling in one by one. Still, I'm in my slacking mode. Not a good sign - AT ALL! Right now, I'm drilling my head with words to keep me from being a slacker. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a day that is well spent.

Good night.
